2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE300 Coupe Review: The Merits of Calmness
Two-door coupes are becoming just as much of an endangered species as mid-size family sedans, with automakers taking them out of their lineups as buyers skip them for more popular segments. But there’s still a die-hard segment of fans who absolutely must have that style, and for them, Mercedes-Benz has decided to keep the two-door personal luxury coupe alive with the new 2024 CLE coupe and convertible.
Available as the CLE300 and CLE450 coupe and convertible (and the AMG CLE53 soon, as well), the new two-door is meant to combine aspects of the old C-Class compact and E-Class mid-size coupes into one model that straddles the two segments. Looking for something more budget-friendly with a turbo four-cylinder and plenty of style? That’s the CLE300. Want something more opulent and powerful for more money? That’s the CLE450.
Cars.com’s Detroit Bureau Chief Aaron Bragman recently had a crack at the new 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE300 coupe after spending a few days driving it around the streets of Southeast Michigan and came away pleased with the new ‘tweener coupe. Here are his thoughts on the new CLE300 - and whether Mercedes-Benz’s strategy of bridging the two classes with one model makes sense.

We reviewed seven different mid-size family SUVs for our recent 2024 3-Row SUV Challenge, and our runner-up finisher, the 2024 Volkswagen Atlas, generated some really strong opinions among our reviewers. Need something a bit more interesting than a Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro? We prescribe you an extended dose of the all-new 2024 Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster. As West Coast Bureau Chief Conner Golden experienced over the dusty, rock-strewn trails that ...
2024 Lexus LC 500 Convertible Review: Nothing Else Like It
Переглядів 8 тис.14 годин тому
Seven model years into production, and the Lexus LC 500 just might be the most criminally underrated car on sale today. There are other (oftentimes better) sports cars, and there are other grand tourers, but none have the same distinctly Japanese style and flair offered by Lexus’ striking two-door. As always, the best way to approach the LC is as an Aston Martin by way of Lexus. There’s genuine...

2024 Kia EV9 Vs. 2024 Rivian R1S: Family Electric SUVs Compared
Переглядів 12 тис.21 годину тому
There are many all-electric SUVs, but few that offer three rows of seats. If you want one with traditional SUV styling, these two here - the 2024 Kia EV9 and 2024 Rivian R1S - are among your choices. Cars.com recently purchased an EV9 Land trim level with all-wheel drive, and we were curious to see how it compares with Rivian’s R1S - in this case a 2024 Performance Dual-Motor AWD variant with t...

GM is updating all of its big three-row crossover-style SUVs this year, having started with the ‘24 Chevrolet Traverse and now progressing to this, the new 2024 GMC Acadia. It’s bigger than the last one, once again rejoining its Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave brethren on GM’s biggest front-wheel-drive SUV platform, so it gains a lot of space inside and shares all of its underbits with those m...

my 2024 KIA SEATO’s EX premium DOES have a heated steering wheel and I prefer the wired CarPlay as it’s much more stable. I bought a wireless dongle but not as stable connection ( tried a couple) also the wireless charging is useless very slow so on long trips you’re going to want to plug in anyway. It drives great very comfortable mine isn’t turbo but sport mode is just as fun. My mini had turbo and it feels similar to that tight driving in sport mode. It also has smart mode and normal mode as you didn’t mention.

I turn off his reviews. It's just too much to see someone so out of shape sit barely in a car. It taints the whole product and I can't watch. Especially when he is shoehorned into the drivers seat. Please look after yourself and focus on you. Not cars. How can anyone focus on the cars or even listen to what he's saying when he looks barely alive

I have 2 questions: What if it's closer than 18 inches? What would happen? And when u said remove the cables in reverse but in the video is different, the last step is black cable on bold but when u remove it's on battery, why is that?

Info systems are just a learning curve. They all work pretty well. If you want to jump into a new electric ride and think that you are going to know how to use everything in a day or two, let alone a few hours you are wrong. I am no supertech dude but after owning my Niro for 9 months I found out I could change the temp and turn the seats on with voice commands. Smiple stuff, but did not know it. As far as user profiles, seat settings and mirrors for the driver was a 2003 thing in my 300M. I don't know why more cars these days don't...

Why wouldn't you compare apples to apples? The clear theme of your video is, the Rivian costs 28k more. But there a dual motor trim with a standard battery pack that matches the EV9's range and outperforms the Kia. You had a narrative. The Rivian costs more. It's not worth the extra 28k. How about comparing it to the comparable base trim in terms of performance and range that cost the same as the Kia and is eligible for some portion of the tax credit? Oh, because you would lose your, it costs too much agenda...

One of the first videos I wont finish watching because of comments. Not having the CX90, Traverse, Explorer, maybe even the Sorrento and Santa y a big let down. You cannot based your review on hoy popular a vehicle is, because this is the main reason why people watch content like thia to get educated and informed. Being popular doesnt means is the best, is just marketing and lack of consumer knowledge. Plus, here in San Diego, which is a big market you dont see the Pathfinder, Subaru or the Atlas, but the Exorer and cx90 is way more common

Funny how you mentioned the new Chevrolet Trax. I'm not a big GM fan but I actually liked the look of that vehicle, however I was baffled why they decided to get rid of AWD option when it was offered on the first generation Trax and the smaller Trailblazer. Nissan has done the opposite here and is now offering AWD option on the redesign while the Kicks was previously limited to FWD. Good job Nissan and I'm excited for these to hit the dealership lots!

Why not compare the Gen2 Rivian with a standard version and not the max pack! It's crazy to compare a 400mile range EV with a 280! And then complain about the price difference.
